    Good tool

    I use this specific mag base over a Starrett 660 any day, the new 660’s come generally with a small snug clamp instead of the bigger knob they used to supply. The Noga seems to be a bit stronger and more robust. I use this countless times in a day and hold up a couple years easily and I use them. Just my opinion and not trying to pick on any brands. Just hold up 2-1 in my experience

    What every hobby machinist should have in their toolkit!!

    Although this NOGA NF61003 holder cost more than its Chinese equivalence it is well worth spending the extra money. The instrument holders' magnet is stronger. The arms once positioned lock into place with the turn of one locking nob and there is a fine adjustment for getting the dial gage set up accurately. All in all a very useful, easy to use and highly accurate holder.

    Best brand for mag base no doubt!

    Just amazing the arm is just so easy to manipulate and with just half a turn it locks rock solid. Then there is fine adjustment so when u check bores u can zero out the dia vs trying to press it in range. Much easier. I took one of these and took the arm off and theaded a indicol clamp and used this arm. Was the best thing i ever did better tip us a knock off indicol as the clamp is the one thing that does work on those

    Great little indicator holder

    I really like the small footprint of this holder & this is the third one I have purchased. I holds tight and works great for me. I did see on youtube where a guy inverted his - and the reading was a few thousands different so apparently the arm can flex possibly if used as he demonstrated. But hey..I'm going to reset the dial anyway if I ever needed to invert mine and then start measuring.. so I don't see a problem. I use for general work and gunsmithing.. Noga works great for me!

    Very well made, works as advertised, has a strong magnetic base, really like the one knob tightening feature. Like this item over the old style of indicator I have used in the past. Will purchase a larger size NOGA with my next purchase.
