    They looked like brand new. These pads have a tough,strongly stitched fabric shell and padding material. I feel the padding could be/should be thicker.But it'll help. These pads are very versatile for my wants. I use them for every piece of gear with shoulder straps. And they can be put on non-padded backpack hip belts. These are the best value for TWO pairs I could find on ebay. Wouldn't hesitate to do business with this seller again. 5 Stars!
