      Versatile tool for many applications

      This is a great tool. After using dremel tools for years I wanted something better so i researched a number of flexible shaft products.The Foredom has always impressed me as a quality tool. Love the chuck vs using different size collets. Also, the foot control works well...very smooth.

      works great for wood sculpting

      use it for wood sculpting makes it a lot easier . How ever needs a longer flex shaft and if you turn it a little to much it binds . You just have to be careful not to bend the flex shaft very much other than that it works great .

      Foredom SR (blue label vs Red label)

      So I figured out why some of these are as low as 70.00 and the one I purchased was 300.00 the main difference is the quality the red knock off brand looks identical accept the red knock off doesn’t have the brand name Foredom on the cast portion part of the motor and the amps are less than half which makes the motor less than half the knock offs are .7 amps and the real foredom amps are 1.6amps that’s a huge difference i’m glad i i spent the extra money because this is an awesome smooth motor spend the extra money you’ll be glad you did
