  • PERFECT

Works flawlessly. Does what the seller claims and more actually! Received: 1 x 4 relay receiver, 2 x 4 button key fobs (both ALREADY programmed for zones a/b/c/d.) Product IS great! Both key fobs are already programmed for relay (zones) A/B/C/D. The power blocks are a little on the small side. But still very "do-able." A word of advice for the novice or any person who may purchase this item and be stumped as to how to wire the device & what not.... * with the top plastic lid removed, situate the p.c.b. (leave screwed into the bottom plastic piece) with the power block labeled a/b/c toward you. * notice the 2 blocks on the right labeled "- +." These are obviously the dc voltage to power the receiver. Wire these to your power source. * Now, the first set of a-b-c blocks (bottom left).... This will control "zone A" aka A button. From here, you will have several different options on how to wire this to power your remote device (NOT THE RECEIVER, the device you wish to control). ---First understand the functions of "a/b/c." Think of ABC as a spdt switch, whereas B is the source. A is NOT-CONNECTED, C is CONNECTED. With power applied B & C will NO LONGER be connected and A & B will now be CONNECTED. * Now that you understand that. You need to decide if you are going to break ground or positive at the switch... * Also.... You may run a completely different voltage to pin B altogether. EXAMPLE. You may power the receiver via 5 vdc and wish to run the relay as a 12 vdc switch.... NO PROBLEM. Run your 12vdc to B... use A as vdc out to device. So you have the 4 zones to play with like that. Or you could jump B with the V+ in... up to you. *** ANOTHER cool thing... relays can be either MOMENTARY or TOGGLE. I know there is also a way to program it with the onboard pushbutton to do Jog and latching. So... that's another HUGE plus! I actually mod'd my pcb with a spdt (on / off/ on ) switch to easily switch between momentary and toggle. Also doing a mod to have control (momentary / toggle) over the individual relays. Hope this helps people out. Also hope this opens up some simple ideas for people. Great Product. I'm actually ordering a few more.! Cant beat the price. And it got here within 3 days!

  • Good product.

I bought this to remotely select the coil taps of a multi band vertical antenna. Works good for 40 meters or lower. Has RFI problems at powers of greater than 25 watts above 40 meters. RFI causes receiver to relax the relay and loose control. The relay may also chatter and become stuck. So, not recommended for above 40 meters. Just not made for this application. I do like all the modes. Instructions would be nice. All in all it's a very good remote. It also has good working distances, in my case 180 feet from inside the house, that's impressive !

  • Great quality..

Excellent quality item the only negative is there is only one dip switch to change the functionality of the buttons and how the relays operate from the remote so therefore when you change the dip switch it changes all four relays to the same choice, if you choose intermittent button operation then all four relays are intermittent.. if you choose one button press on one button press off then all four relays operate that way..

  • Good unit ; I can not make it any cheeper than it cost !

Three connections for each relay = One relay can turn off one item while immediately tuning on another Press button A and one unit comes on press button A again unit one go's off and unit two comes on . Or just use two of the connections on one of the relays to turn something on and off . Good item ; Works great

  • great for small projects

  • Very nice device!

I am using this device to switch my waterfall on and off along with a voltmeter and lights. It runs on 12v DC solar power. It works like a charm. I love it!

  • Works as described

The only thing I could suggest, is if there were some schematics and drawings showing how to wire up different things to show more uses for the product. I think it will do more than how I use it and would like other ideas. The plans might sell more products too and will give customers more options for its use. Thank you
