    Do you have110v electric

    When a storm or a car take down a telephone pole and puts the electric out. You can set in the dark for a couple of hours or use a extra car battery or your car or truck battery, hook up a jumper cables to the inverter + & - and plug a extension cord in other end and run it inside the house to a small tv or radio, police scanner and also a light in a couple hours just start your car or truck and charge your battery , it's better the setting in the dark. I also have one at our campsite, you never no when the electric is going out. Doug/ Marilynn

    Be careful of remanufactured products

    Now I know why this was "re-manufactured". It works OK but has a very high pitched "squeal" that drives you crazy with it's intended use inside when the power goes off.

    Portable power

    I have used these inverters for years, and they are great for camping or living off the grid. (Power outages too!) Some of the most popular uses include: powering radios, TVs, lights, charging cellphones and laptops, etc. While not suitable for large heat producing appliances, ( crock pots, toasters, hair driers) these inverters will run almost anything that you can plug in. In our off grid cabin we have solar and use an electric coffee maker, blender, and small microwave. (One at a time) In the shop I can power jigsaws, drills, sanders, soldering irons, and even a small circular saw. (If you have enough battery power) These inverters usually do not go bad, unless you get them wet or reverse the polarity by mistake.     Poor quality

    The LED indicator lights were badly assembled and misaligned.When the inverter is turned on, the green LED light up but could not be seen as it fell behind the plastic bezel. The fan was very noisy. Unfortunately this inverter does not have the same quality as the one I had before.
