  • dukes of hazzard -old memories revisited

I saw most of if not all the series when it first appeared on tv -late 70's,early 80's. My first viewing and appeal of the show appears to have changed since then. I still love the car, General Jackson, and the spirit of the Duke boys, but the story lines are not very interesting or deep. Actually besides the speeding car and jumps it makes, the rest of the show does not hold my attention. I am a huge fan of vintage shows like Andy Griffith, Matlock, Gomer Pyle, Leave it to Beaver, etc, but this series does not compare. I still enjoy some of the series but probably would rate 3 stars out of 5. John

  • Great show from a forgotten time

Brings back memories of my childhood. Sure, some of the story lines are kinda corny, but who cares?! A show like this wouldn't even be considered nowadays, and I'm glad to let my own children watch this because I know it's a good family show.

  • Fun and entertaining.

I really enjoy it, and my family is also. The episodes are well-done, and cut the commercials. I can watch one or two episodes per night.
