Quality Mulching Blades
For those of us do it your self folks this is the ticket. My yearly tune up of my lawn tractor (now 12 years old) always includes new blades and when my local shop had none in stock I checked on line. In five days my blades arrived and I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box. Very heavy duty blades that can be easily resharpened several times as needed. I will for sure get a years worth of mowing from these even with my large yard and heavy leaf chopping in the fall. Since I live in the south my mowing year has already started so longevity is key. wrong blades

Low price but thinner/lighter than standard blades easy to bend.
Installed blades and while cutting for the first time, scrub the top of a root. The blade that hit root bent down 1.5" on one side. Was able to straighten blade close to new. So, if you're wanting to save $10-$15 and can ensure the blades won't hit anything these blades are for you. Otherwise, it is better to buy the heavier standard blades. no so great......
Not the best blades. They are well constructed and will probably last a good long time. The down is that they don't mulch very well. The cuttings come out long and clumped. You will leave windrows of trimmings and the lawn doesn't look very good. I have previously used Oregon brand blades- they do a great job, but I only get a season out of them if I'm lucky. Lawn Tractor Mulching Blades
These blades were a very good value, but be aware of the center mounting star holes. I thought these were the correct blades for my lawn tractor with the 5 point star center and when I took my old ones off I discovered my old blades were 6 point star centers and not 5 point centers. So in order to install them I had to modify the centers to fit. So a half hour installation turned into a 2 hour one.My fault for not checking closer at the centers of the blades.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
