Xbox one user love it
I have the 1 TB xbox one with cooling fan and wireless head set my 1 TB drive was about 75 % full. With 2 USB conections on back in use, I bought a 3.0 Hub(did not want to use side usb) used hub for fan and headset direct plugged drive in turned on Xbox, saw drive no problem followed on screen instructions and it was ready to use. Amazingly BIG Drive for an EXCELLENT price:)
This thing is super for the price, it's amazingly fast at the read times, and pretty limber at the write speeds as well. For the price it's awesome, it is a standard 3.5" drive in an external case with a usb3 or 2 compat....cable and power supply. Great drive, worth the price.

great external hard drive
I have an older Dell OptiPlex 745 running Windows 7 . this external hard drive works great as a backup plus has a bunch of extra storage for other files . this is just a plug and play unit - no expertise needed to make it work . I use it mostly for storing files or pictures -but it will make an excellent unit for a backup drive . very quiet , the only way I know it's on and working is the flashing blue light !! Expansion drives make excellent NETWORK STORAGE UNITS!
I have an expansion 2 TB and have had it for 8 years. I suspect I should get ready to replace it, as it only had a 3 year warranty! The 4 TB, USB 3 is faster and larger than the 2 TB, but I expect the same performance from it! I use the expansion in conjunction with my Netgear Router (USB 2 currently)(I bought a AC3200- USB3/USB2 to replace my old Netgear Router and like my expansion drive, has worked famously for years!) as a network DRIVE/CLOUD.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

My only complaint is the power cord
I bought this without doing my research. It works great, but the desktop model uses a power cord. If you don't want one that needs a power cord make sure you purchase the portable model. The portable model costs a little more, but I think it is worth it to not have to worry about power. I am happy with my purchase and will use this drive until it is full. By the time it is full, the 8 TB models should be close to $100 and I will upgrade to a 8 TB portable without a power cord.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
