Clumsy arrangement for loading water and coffee; with a hot water spout that gives a very localized deposit on the grounds. Vents at the back to limit water to 12 cups - bad design to make a mess where it will not be seen - far better to vent at top of two water gauges on the front. It's a modern day percolator, heats the water and runs it over filtered grounds into a pot.
