    I was sent a laptop with an admin password lock. Seller doesn’t have the password and is refusing a return. The listing doesn’t mention anything about the BIOS lock, but his reasoning for not accepting a return is, “We never said in the ad we will provide a BIOS password.” ..… Packaging was also horrible with no protection at all. There are plenty of honest sellers out there, I’d avoid this one.

    This customer was extremely unreasonable. If anyone goes back to this sales ad it was stated clearly this was a Ubuntu Linux laptop. This buyer was attempt to do a back door reset on the computer BIOS by trying to install some other operating system. It was never stated in the ad this laptop would be provided with a BIOS password. The password included in the sale was for login purposes. I advised this buyer several times BIOS password was never included in the sale. Pure buyer ramose

    The BIOS is an important function of the laptop which is used for more than reinstalling an OS. If it's password locked, which you were aware of, that should have been clear and mentioned in the listing.
