Original 1950's style 1960s Detective Series
This series was produced for only one year, from 1965 to 1966, hence has a unique value to collectors. I paid about $18 for 30 1/2 hour episodes, a real bargain, and an added bonus is that Kay Francis was one of the 1rst female TV detectives. Filmed in black and white, this mid 1960s series seems like it was filmed in the 1950s, so if you are a 1950s TV enthusiast like I am, this 4 DVD set is easily worth the money.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Honey West complete series
Anne Francis looks even better (drop dead gorgeous) than I remember as a kid (my first crush). It's fun, mid-60s detective pop TV. In the first episode she wears a then-daring bikini showing her navel (that was not allowed back then, must have slipped by). There is sexually suggestive dialog for the time, another thing frowned on even then. Lots of fun. It was the first female-starred TV detective show, I think.
