If you like cooking with a high quality oil with a higher smoke point than olive oil, avocado oil is a great substitute. A bit pricier, but when you can get a good deal on some, buy it! Avocado oil carries that buttery flavor you associate with a perfectly ripe avocado. The oil is just OK. I've had better. The can is yes dented- just like in the picture. It's also an annoying can that is messy and has a lip that catches the oil too often.
