First Use of New Purchase
Have used the Garmin RV 760LMT once to transport our new 5th wheel trailer from purchase site to storage location about 40 miles distant. It was easy to set up and use and have had no issue with it but this was only on a single use. The lane assist is a great feature and screen was easy to see from across the dashboard of my 2015 Chevy 2500. Will have a better review after extended use. Disappointed
I find the GPS picky on setting up a route. Destinations I can easily get on google maps on my cell phone are more difficult to set up on GPS. Maybe I just need more practice on it to learn its idiosyncrasies. The BC20 camera resolution is so grainy it is hard to tell what I'm looking at. This unit is great compared to my last unit, SOB, and I especially like the voice command feature on this unit. Also it is cool that you can pair your smart phone to this unit also. Great unit. If you add the cost of a back up camera to that size GPS its a bargain. Only negative it could use a more versatile mount. the supplied mount has a limited range of motion. depending on you dash are it may not tip to the needed angle. I purchased this Garmin for my motorhome. I had tried other brands and they were difficult to see and read in the sunlight. I wear polarized sunglasses and Garmin seems to work out the best for viewing. Awesome GPS for the RV owner
I've been a Garmin GPS user for almost 15 years. I've personally owned 8 of their products. We recently purchased a motorhome and can't be more pleased with the Garmin nuvi RV 760 LMT. It has a huge screen and easy, intuitive controls. When you first get the GPS, it asks you for a profile of your RV, length, height, weight etc.. It will then route you and give alerts accordingly! It also features a pretty extensive list of RV Parks nationwide including an option to narrow your search according to your preferences. It will filter for such things as power hookups, pull thru spaces vs. back in. Does the park have a laundry or swimming pool etc. If you own an RV, this is the GPS you have to have. Extremly nice product
This is my second and last Garmin to buy, it is the best product for the price. I have found nothing I don't like about the item.
