    Use it and wait and see.

    Appears to be an OEM LG product. However, this LG LT1000P replacement water filter seems to dispense water and ice with a slightly off taste. This is after at minimum 9 or 10 gallons purge through dispenser. Taste is getting less noticeabe to me. Wife still complains and don't drink from fridge yet. Will add its a brand new fridge.
