Along the way, the program etches out compelling biographical profiles of such quintessentially Scottish characters as Robert the Bruce, William Wallace and Sir Walter Scott, and explores events including the Darien disaster and the emergence of the tobacco lords. Professional Archeologist and Popular History Enthusiast is engaging and always does a marvelous job hosting programs of this sort. Anyone with an interest in Scotland, medieval history, and legendary characters like William Wallace and Robert de Bruce will enjoy learning the un-romanticized story of what really happened across the centuries that led to modern Scotland and the UK as we know it today. As for this specific purchase, it was missing the booklet that new versions provide and there was some wear to the outside box, but discs are all good so far.
