Everything was in fantastic condition and still sealed except for one little box that had a little bit of wear and tear, possibly from the shipping, but still overall a very positive experience. The shipping cost seemed a little high, but in all fairness I'm not sure how much it actually costs to ship two boxes across the country so maybe the cost was reasonable.     Live underground!

    This creative LEGO toy meets my toy criteria - it has the opportunity to morph itself into creative play! It engages the kids as originally planned but with a little prodding goes beyond. It's easy to incorporate other toys with this little home and make a village or a community. And who wouldn't love to live underground??

    Great Set with awesome pieces

    As usual, the creativity abounds in this set. I love the details both inside and out - picket fence, circular door, "glazed" window, Bilbo's book and quills. The quantity and diversity of characters is spectacular and can easily start your set or enhance other Hobbit / LOTR sets. Four stages of assembly gave my son and I hours of enjoyment over multiple days.

    More than I expected it to be

    I was thinking it was going to be small, but it is a pretty good size which makes it more enjoyable. I love all of the little touches that they added, carrot patch, 3 maps, all of the pieces for a supper and the red book in the corner to name a few.
