    Searched for this specific model and very happy with it. Newer models are larger and put out too much hot air. We use if in the summer and don't want a "space heater" on the kitchen counter. The original manual Did Not say to avoid using parchment paper until food is placed on it. New model manuals have that Warning. Parchment can move around in the pre-heat phase and scorch. That killed our same model air fryer. It overloaded the thermal fuse. The fuse can be replaced, but is a hassle.

    Open Box vs USED

    While Gourmia 6qt Air Fryer seems to be working ok (only used once since purchased), I have more of a problem with the way it was advertised. It should be made MORE CLEAR that OPEN BOX may mean used as well! The fryer was not clean with some grease stains around the inside of the fryer and a minimal attempt was made to clean the exterior for resale. I would reconsider buying thru E-Bay with this "Open Box policy". TD
