If you try to reach out to the seller they don’t respond at all this seller only shows the bad misrepresentation of eBay and none of the good.     I put two of these in Raid 0 for a speedy storage setup for non-critical things

    Two of these in raid 0 is FAST These drives benchmarked 450 MB/s reads in crystal disk mark. And around 400 MB/s writes. Crazy fast for a hard drive. Tho that was just sequentials. My randoms remained around ~2 MB/s which is decent but expected of a hard drive. I don’t recommend anyone do this for anything but non criticals (one drive dies, all data is gone) but for something like game storage but want decent loading times, this is GREAT. Nearly ssd like speeds on sequentials! These drives are also super quiet. Much quieter than my old seagates from like 5 years ago, it’s honestly very impressive how far we’ve come in hard drive tech.

    Hot garbage

    Product died after two days! It was supposed to be a back up. Copied over all my files from a dying 1 TB drive which had bad sectors. Everything went fine for about 12 hours and I decided the new drive was functioning properly so I went ahead and formatted my old drive. Lo and behold this drive failed just a few hours later! Disappeared from Windows and is no longer being recognized by the BIOS. It is offficially a piece of hot garbage and nott just based on my experience but other's as well. Asked for a return/refund, we'll see how Newegg responds.

    Seagate Barracuda 2 Tb Hard Drive

    The drive has worked flawlessly right out of the package. First question "Is it quiet" Have never heard a peep from it. Second Question "is it fast" For a mechanical drive the speeds are reasonable. Third Question "Is it reliable" I guess time will tell. I have avoided Seagate drives because of reliability issues but the price for this drive was too hard to resist. It is not installed in my daily use computer and is mostly for backup. The 2 year warranty could be a little longer. Three years would be reasonable.

    Works as advertised for a consumer grade drive.

    I have this in a RAID enclosure with three other drives and so it is have to tell if it's quiet or fast. I do know it works fine and was easy to install and arrived as expected.

    Can't beat it for storage....

    I run an ssd for my os, and I bought this for storage along with a wd black. Can't tell the deference between the two for a third the price... I would recommend this product for any application!
