    Great quality, as ever, from Yamaha

    I don't think I've ever come across any Yamaha product that is anything but super. I am a music teacher and have played all manner of Yamaha guitars (acoustic and electric), basses, drums, keyboards, digital pianos, grand and upright pianos, flutes, saxophones and clarinets (I assume that their marine engines and motor cycles are just as good!). These headphones give clear sound quality, are comfortable and robust, whilst boasting that marvellous quality of simplicity that is a hallmark of Japanese construction and design.

    Good but not great

    Always have loved Yamaha products. The ear padding is comfortable and the sound quality is good but wouldn't say great. However, very disappointed with Yamaha for putting their name on a product with such flimsy plastic over the head piece. Still not bad for the price. Looks like you need to go to the 59.99 set from Yamaha to get padding !

    Decent sound at a decent price.

    I can't find this locally, so I have to buy it overseas. They are small and lightweight, the design looks very simple, yet they provide a nice sound. They are probably a good option to carry with the cellphone just to listen to some music. I compared the sound with a Sony at the same price range and with more expensive AKGs. Every product had its goodness but this were the best when connected to my digital piano, and also they come with the 6.3mm adapter, as it should be. Nice bass. I feel the higher tones a bit too strong but the sound is clear and that's very important. Lets remember again that this are cheap headphones, but good for it's price. I'm curious now about some more expensive models. I will buy Yamaha headphones again for sure.

    Thin Connector Cord

    Like so many things that get made, a company , designs, engineers, tests and manufacturers and sells something that could have been decent if they didn't try to save a penny or two by using some thin connector cord on something that will sell for 1000's of times more than their savings. How stupid !!!!
