    700

    Inspiron 700 is a nice compact computer although windows xp does have its issues, MOST of which can be overlooked. The battery is the big issue expensive and a common problem is "computer doesn't recognize battery warning". I have no real gripes about this unit and will do more research to hopefully rectify these issues.

    Lightweight and easy to use.

    I bought this as a back-up to an identical model that I have had for years. It has Windows XP on it which I need to run a couple old programs - File Express and Lotus for DOS.
