    Works well!

    We've had this model and used it--and periodically replaced it--for decades. Yes, presto griddles and skillets will last that long! I would give this probe 5 stars but the cord needs a strain relief so the cord doesn't break. It breaks right where the cord enters the black housing. Inside it isn't really user serviceable because it is a crimp connection. This means it must be replaced. Overall it is a great product. Pros: Inexpensive and lasts a long, long time. Works in multiple presto cooking-ware. Cons: The cord eventually does break. The cord could be slightly longer.
