    Great performance for DVR drive

    I always trust a good product. After much research, I chose the Samsung SSD for a DVR, which replaced a rotating HDD. The fast reads are really what I am looking for since a DVR will read more on-demand than write, and it's fast, since there are no spinning disks and a reasonable cache buffer size. This is 2-3 generations old, would recommend to read further and obtain newer versions for better performance, especially since this one is still a SATA interface, and the newer ones are NVMe.

    Solid upgrade from older laptop drive

    If you want increased speed and reduced time defragging your hard drive, then it's time to substitute s SSD for your current storage solution. Very affordable, a freeware has software to transfer or faithfully copy all drive information.

    Samsung SSD Works As Expected.

    Works as expected. Simple package. Mounts ok into adapter and SATA connectors made replacement of old HD with this SSD very easy. Partitioning software saw the drive no problem. (Used Linux Ubuntu and FreeBSD)

    Samsung is the way to go with SSD's

    Samsung SSD's are the best and the fastest. Tried a few other brands, nothing else even compares. Samsung data transfer/ cloning, works perfect. Samsung Magician keeps the drives running great.

    What a difference!

    I have worked on computers for a little over 30 years, and I knew that SSD's where better than HDD's. But even the old Dell Latitude E6410 (which is coming up on almost a decade of having been EOL) is 3-4 times faster with this drive then without. Getting 3 Gbps R/W and loving it.
