    LOVE THIS THING!!!

Great Product!! Especially given the price today. It is very cost effective and works extremely well !! The brissels are better made today than in the past and the charge seems to last a lot longer!! I just love these newer models. Now days, they even let you know if you are using too much force perhaps causing gum damage!! Can't beat them!!

    Philip Sonic toothbrush

Terribly designed toothbrush. It never worked correctly out of the box, in my opinion. It vibrates fine when the power button is pressed, but as soon as you start brushing your teeth, the "sonic" turns off. The toothbrush head is too small. It went straight in the trash.. Save your money and time and try a different type of toothbrush.

  • Almost the greatest teeth cleaning product!

I would give the SoniCare a 5 rating if these would last any longer. The Sonicare cleans better and easier than any other type of brush I have used, but I have to replace them every 1-2 years because they lose their power apparently due to the seal at the base wearing out (guessing there). I suppose one might consider the annual cost still reasonable compared to the dentist bills (I actually rarely need any significant cleaning with using this product), but I find that a 1-2 earl lifetime is unacceptable.

  • Best Bang for your Oral Health Care Dollars

Best bang for the buck, versus some of the higher priced models that seem to do a lot of the same. The black body color is nice, but I now wish they would make brush heads in black plastic as well ;) Simple to use. Feels like it cleans my teeth, gums and tongue quite well. I use it in conjunction with a water irrigator. That combo is like the Dynamic Duo for good oral health care.

  • Sonicare has sketchy history quality-wise but 4100 is another strong performer. Jury out on life-span

I just received this Sonicare toothbrush so I can't attest to its long term reliability. However, I've been using Sonicares for over 20 years. All three of us in the family use so I've bought a lot. I'll say this. The competition doesn't hold a candle to their design. However, their quality control has been lacking many times. I've made lots of warranty claims but Sonicare has sometimes not provided a new replacement but rather a used one in a plain brown box. For the hundreds of dollars it costs to buy toothbrushes, you'd think they wouldn't cheap out but they sometimes do. When they work, they're great. When they stop, they don't like standing behind their products. Our last model, the step below this one, lasted 4 yrs. Not bad. I'm impressed with the performance increase of the 4100. Definite improvement! I have high hopes it will last... and if not, Sonicare will stand behind it. Overall, very pleased with the product. PS I didn't think I’d like the black OR the pink but both are better in person than the pics show! The black one even comes with a matching black charger, the only one to do so. I likey.

  • Best Yet!

I can easily tell the difference between how clean my teeth feel using the 4100 vs my other original Sonicare. Easier to use, lighter and can get into the molar areas. I especially like the fact that no dirt/mold can accumulate in the well under the brush like the original. The brush just pulls off easily for changing or putting in a travel case.

  • Best bet when your Rota-dent one step dies.

I like this a lot and got used to it quickly. When the battery in my old Rota-dent one step had to be recharged every day or two, I went with the Sonicare 4100 to replace the regular brushing/Rota method before bed. Works great except for inside the front teeth; a bit awkward. I still regular brush mornings and of course floss. Just an FYI: the new Rotas (company sold) are different, one step gone. Check out the reviews.

  • Reponse to Survey Questions

Ask me about "durability" a year from now. The question makes no sense at this time. It does appear to clean well. The engineering does not result in an absolute closure of the space between the body of the base and the "click-in" brush. This leads to the development of mold when water gets into the base. Sonicare is well aware of the mold problem because it become a regular problem with its previous non click-in models but doesn't appear to have been able to create a "flush" connection between base and brush !

  • Quality brand name device at a low price

I replaced my old Sonicare Elite with this one and am happy with it. I kept my old charging unit that has the built-in UV sterilizer and it is compatible with this Sonicare model.

  • Sonicare cleans well

I bought a Sonicare after my dental assistant recommended it. She told me the Dentist had given all his staff a Sonicare for Christmas. I like it; it cleans my teeth well. The replacement brushes are more expensive than my previous battery toothbrush, but they last much longer and in the end, I believe, cost less overall.
