    Not 100% compatible

    Tried to change an old blend door from my '03 Explorer with this one, but it does not recognize the part, had to open the blend door, take the gears off, machine it a little bit and use the case from the old blend door that had a busted gear, it is not the best way, but was the only way to fix and make it work properly. At least now I can control the temperature of my car.

    Assembled incorrectly

    I had to disassemble part to correct flapper handle. It came out front away from box rather than toward box. Release tabs broke (cheap plastic) then I repositioned flap arm and glued case back together with epoxy. For the cost I would have paid more to get better quality. You could use gears if that's what you need. but my motor was broke.
