ELO still sounds great live after all these years in the great outdoor atmosphere of Hyde Park.

Have been an ELO fan since way-back when I bought "Face the Music" when it first came out. "Evil Woman" blew me away. You can definitely hear a strong Beatles influence in Jeff's music. Love the concert, interview and the "Blue Sky" documentary. That alone is priceless with all the behind-the-scenes shots and interviews with Macca, Ringo, Tom Petty, Big O along with family members and closw friends (Joe Walsh). One disapointment is the recording quality. I would have expected a higher quality - DTS, for this concert. With that said, the concert is exceptional. Wish I could have been there in person. Hoping we'll get to see and hear more from this GREAT musician. I certainly do recommend this DVD as a GREAT addition to any music lovers collection.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

This DVD is of Jeff Lynne and The Electric Light Orchestra playing a limited number of their hits in a live concert in London's Hyde park. Mr. Lynne even throws in a little ditty from his days with The Traveling Willburrys. As far as live concerts are concerned, this is a good one. The tall leggy blonde who plays the violin is extreme eye candy , and can REALLY play the violin. Jeff Lynne - national treasure
As a lifelong Jeff Lynne/ELO fan, I was thrilled last year when he consented to do the Hyde Park Concert. I couldn't attend, but I must have watched it 100 times on the Internet. I also had seen Mr. Blue Sky: The Story of Jeff Lynne and ELO several times. So I knew what I was getting when I ordered the DVD, but I was surprised at the cost. What a value! Jeff's music is so beautiful and timeless, and his voice is still amazing. The BBC Orchestra, Take That, Richard Tandy, and the rest of the band were true to the original sound of ELO.
