Exactly what I was looking for!
I have this exact curling iron in the 1-1/2inch extended barrel, and it was too thick for my fine hair and the curls wouldn't hold... but I loved it. This smaller diameter barrel curls my PERFECTLY. The curls stay and the extended barrel creates the messy beach waves I'm after. I do with the cord end came out of the base of the curling iron straight instead of crooked... it's just a little awkward, but not a deal breaker. I also wish the cool tip was fixed instead of rotating. You get used to it, but it can be tricky when it swivels. Other than a few tiny design tweaks, I wouldn't change a thing!
