    Attachment for machine with zigzag abilities

    This button hole attachment works, but...it requires a electronic machine with built in zigzag. I had intended it for a FEB 1927, 128 Singer, hand crank. Makes nice buttonhole shapes, may use on Bound Buttonholes, not blouse buttonholes which require zigzag stitch. I did buy a Greist Buttonholer which works on 1927 Singer. Templates on Greist a bit smaller than V102878. I am converting some Singer templates to fit Greist attachment. This Singer attachment will work fine on my other 1968 Singer Futura. Using antiques, you have to adapt, or live with as is.

    Works okay, missing a part

    bought this for the keyhole button holes which my mechanical sewing machine does not do. I have a janome 5124 and this fits fine. I was not familiar with this attachment and found it was missing a part only after it arrived. The box should contain: buttonholer, templates: 8 green, 6 brown, 6 tan, metal feed dog cover (this was the piece my package was missing) and screw to secure the feed dog cover. Mine did not have directions, but was able to download a copy online at not cost. I have to sew over the template pattern a couple of times to get the density I would like.

    Singer Buttonholer

    Makes perfect buttonholes! Love this gadget! I used this on My Baby lock Melody model. Instead of using the feed cover, I just lowered the feeds with the switch on the other side of the machine. Worked perfectly.....

    Well worth the price, works very well.

    Works very well on my sewing machine to make buttonholes. It was a little dry, had to oil it, but it works really well. I am more then happy with it. Now I won't be able to sew buttonholes with out it. Well worth the price and was shipped quick.
