Released eight years after NBA Basketball, Slam Dunk: Super Pro Basketball upgrades the 3-on-3 roundball format by adding slam dunks, time outs, three-pointers (from half court), fouls and free throws, a pool of 70 players, stats based on real NBA players and a budget for buying said players. Athlete's names are fictional to avoid licensing fees. Statistics remain static, but they do influence the speed and shot percentage of each player. Graphics and sounds have been enhanced as well, but the inclusion of a one-player mode is perhaps the most significant improvement.Product Identifiers
