Shawshank for kids
Based on award winning book, my older grandchildren talked me into taking them to this Disney movie when it was in theaters. Now it's becoming a favorite of my young grandchildren. An innocent young man is falsely accused and sent to serve time under the watchful eye of a warden with selfish alterior motives. But truth and kindness win out and everyone learns valuable lessons.

This movie, while a bit far-fetched, is a heart-warming, comical account of a teenager who suffers an unfortunate situation and pays the price. But in the end, the good guys win, the bad guys are dealt with, and everybody is happy. I like it!
