    For the Chess scene alone..!

    Great price, Great Delivery, Great Disc, and the Great McQueen and Dunaway. Saw it when it first hit theaters in the 60’s, and a Joy to watch decades later. And Oh Yes, Great Director (Norman Jewison) and Great Song (“The Windmills of your Mind”) (filmed in my hometown of Boston, too!)

    Brains v Beauty

    The original film as the savvy and clever mind behind a bank robbery although just for a challenge. Glamour as portrayed by Faye Dunaway and stunning clothing of the Sixties era made the fact that she was a detective out to catch Thomas Crown extra thrilling

    A cinematic triumph

    I haven't seen this since it was first released in (what the 1970s?) and it was so dazzling it foreclosed any interest in seeing the remake. It is still a brilliant piece of film making, with unparalleled split screen shots and multiple lens action. Plotting and action is icing on the cake. Faye Dunaway's Barbie doll makeup and costumery is a little distracting, but overall the film is in the top rank for me.

    The original is charming

    A good CD of an interesting flick. More a character study than a modern thriller. McQueen and Dunaway are charming. Also, it was fun to compare to the remake with Pierce Brosnan and Rene Russo.
