Awesomr meter for 410a
Been using H10 for years & always had great luck with it on r-22, but not so good with r-410a. Day after I got the Fieldpiece I had 2- 410a leak service calls . First one I found in about 2 minutes as I first pulled the drain hose fitting, did preliminary sniff & meter went crazy. Then pulled the service door on Ruud coil. Within a few seconds I found one of the return bends leaking on lower left corner , verified with soap bubbles & system only had about 20 lbs pressure on it.Very impressed with the accuracy of this meter & the auto zero feature. Is good, but it could be even better
In 1980 I worked on an ocean-going fishing boat with an H10, General Electric and behaved like a radar. I mean, by turning left right, upside down right from a distance of 2m dipits the place where the freon leakage occurred.
