    Keep the factory amp

    This kit is the only way to keep your factory amp and with other parts your steering wheel button. It's real easy to hook up. The wiring diagram is pretty straight forward. The only problem is, you will no longer be able to fade the sound front to back. That feature is lost. However side to side works just fine.

    Great Product

    It has been a couple of years now that I have bought a 05 JEEP GC with stock REC radio, an I did not like the functionality of the stock head unit. I was looking for some quick and cheap solution to replace it. This product made things work just perfect. I am now having a JVC DVD installed and it works just great. Planning to buy the steering wheel adapter later. Recommend to anyone fed up with RECs or any other JGC head units.

    As described, almost

    Everything works as it should have with the exception of the remote wire for the amp. The instructions say to hook remote wire from amp to blue wire with white stripe. This did not work, I had to pull radio back out and hook to remote wire for power antenna like I have always done. I should have known better. Worked perfectly after that.
