    It is funny we looked for this same light switch in Lowes and Home Depot and could not find a replacement. And to think we found it here at the best price around, The same switch that we are replacing lasted 4 years.

    Nice but not universally compatable with all fans or bulbs

    Its a very nice switch with great features at a good price but regardless of what is says on the package it wasn't compatible with the light fixture on my fan or LED bulbs even though when i called Hunter before purchasing they said it was. So basically i have a very nice $20 switch that i cant use.

    Poor quality don't waste your valuable time!

    I purchased this hunter fan switch model 27183 and installed it on July 15th 2016 it is now August 22 2016 and the light control portion is starting to fail. It will fail to light or the light will be intermittent during the operation. When I purchased this switch I used 40 watt light bulbs in it to prevent this from happening, however it still happened. Now I have to replace this again however not with this Junk!

    Worked perfect.

    It worked out well. I had been worried that install might of been difficult since the piece might of caused some issues. But the install was fine, wires all matched, and fit together. The old switch was either A: cream/tan colored and didn’t match with the switch. Or B: over time with the sun hitting it, it slowly changed the color. Time will tell but I’m happy it at least matches
