      The item was exactly what I needed. It appears to be of great quality and will be very useful. I was unaware that they even made such a thing. I bought a hammer drill at an online auction and when I received the drill I then realized it was an old style battery it needed. I was bummed out but I thought will that explains why I got it for 10.00 for the heck of it I googled to see if there was an adapter for it and found this now I’m a happy camper.

      Battery fits great but adapter is really...

      Battery fits great but adapter is really snug fitting on my saw. Should loosen up with use. When battery is connected to the adapter there is approx a 6 mA current draw from the battery even if it's not connected to a tool. If you leave the battery on the adapter it will drain the battery completely dead in a few days and will have to jump start to be able to charge again (youtube video on how to). I suspect it's the USB output that's causing drain. Could probably disconnect USB inside to fix.
