After 2 days use I would say the razor is only average, not much better than my 20 year old Norelco 1150X. S9000 series motor seems under powered. RPMs drop with slightest pressure and fully charged. It cuts ok, no irritation, but I was expecting a lot better shaving experience from what I had. Maybe I need more practice and different technique.

We have a 50 year old Norelco razor that still works and has had only one set of new blades. You just popped it open and brushed the blades with the included brush. This new Phillips Norelco makes you take the whole blade assembly off with all kinds of warnings not to turn them around or you have problems. It has many fussy directions. It had the trimmer in a separate bag with no instructions. New blades yearly!
