First of all, some things you need to know about this thing are that 1.) it was first introduced in 2007 and is no longer supported by Belkin, 2.) it was originally intended to enable you to connect to your printer over WiFi in a time where most home printers could only connect over USB, which is a thing that does not require a high-speed connection like today's HD cameras and remote video playback devices, 3.) if you need it to maintain a constant connection then you will likely need to enter a command for that in your dos or terminal window and 4.) you will need to download 3rd party software (I recommend Silex SX Virtual Link) to use it on any current PC or Mac operating system since it is no longer supported by Belkin. If all of these things are ok with you and for what you intend to use it for, and you can find a used one for $28 on eBay like I did, then you will be pretty happy with it. If you need a modern device that enables USB over IP, you should consider the Silex DS-600.Read full review

The Belkin F5L009 is easy to configure and to connect to. It does exactly what it says it does in the description, no complaints there. If you're a Mac user like I am, then you will just need to download Silex SX Virtual Link, which is free and newer software than the Belkin software for the device, since Belkin never developed software for this device to used with Macs.
