    Sigma Macro 50mm f/2.8 EX DG for Nikon AF

    Great lens! I've heard people say Sigma lenses are not the best out there but this lens is great! I have had no problems getting it to focus and the images are super sharp and clear. It's amazing at how close you can get to your subject matter and get a great shot that close. I use it for evidence processing, i.e. photos of fingerprints, etc. It's also great for portraits and 1 to 1 shots where you want the camera to see what you see without distortion.

    Sigma Lens

    Sigma is an excellent manufacturer of "After Market" camera lens. I have purchased several of their lens for my Nikon Cameras, over the years, and have no complaints. They are great folks and stand behind their products. Make sure to buy only DG Series Lens for your full-frame cameras.

    Amazing Lens

    This was a replacement lens - I used an older version for 13 years until it finally died - I simply replaced it with an identical lens. This is amazing lens - it’s great for everything from macro to portraiture. I almost always shoot with it. Definitely a must buy!!

    Great all around lens. Perfect for the macro photographer.

    The Sigma 50mm macro is one, sharp lens! It is just the lens I was looking for to take the walk-around shots I need and to take macro shots. It's focus is quick and precise. Even in macro mode the lens focuses fast and right to the point. The optics are clear and bright. In manual mode the lens is easy and smooth to focus. Sigma 50mm macro is top of the line and half the price.
