I added AT&T 1Gb Fiber internet in my home a couple of months ago. I cut the cord and am streaming to multiple rooms throughout my home. Hardwired was super fast as expected but wireless speeds were hit or miss depending where you were in the house. On my outdoor balcony, wireless dropped below 8Mbps making it difficult to be able to work out there when I wanted to. Well, I now have a ridiculous 280Mbps connection on my balcony, so I can work, stream to my iPad, etc.. I measured with Ookla Speedtest app on my iPhone X. The setup was so quick and easy that it took all of the fun out of it (i.e. the rush you get when you get some piece of networking gear actually working!). It literally only took a minute or two using Netgear's app on my iPhone. WAC510 was good and considerably smaller, but the WAC540 is tri-band and delivers.Read full review
