    Techno-compromise

    The telephone works well but has a little too many "features". I'm a staunch advocate of old technology, which is more reliable and easier to use. This telephone is mostly saved from tech-excess by virtue of the fact that I can use it as simply a telephone, without invoking the other "features" unless I want to do so. I've put a few telephone numbers into its memory and that's handy, although not necessary. An intelligent person (maybe a vanishing breed?) can memorize telephone numbers. At least it doesn't require me to swipe a screen just to find the buttons.

    AT&T corded Phone with 14 speed dial numbers, also has distorted speaker!

    As long as one is not using the speaker on the phone and just the receiver the sound is good, however by using the speaker you can't hear what they are saying as it breaks up!
