I haven’t owned this longer than a month but already I love it. Entire house hold all have IPhones and Apple TV’s so Siri has become part of the family. I have lutron occupancy sensors that I have set up to be vacancy switches. All in an attempt to not have lights left on by family members. Now enters the Lutron Caseta. This was my first HomeKit wall switch but not first HomeKit device. Needless to say adding our ceiling lights to HomeKits scenes have been fantastic along with now being able to dim our lights from asking Siri. The bridge was easy to set up it failed its update the first attempt but passed second wasn’t worried. Light switches work greet and so does the remote, remotes I have some set up to control more than one Lutron Caseta switch. I have set up scenes for the last two years to make it appear as one one is home when no one is and Lutron has a Smart away mode which will automatically turn on when out of the geofence. Last thing that is amazing, is putting these switches where a single pole switch is located now making it a three way or 10 way depending on how many pick remotes you have controlling that particular switch. It’s fantastic. If you like your HomeKit and want control of your light switches this is the way to go! Also if you want to mount the pick remote in your switch box then a special mounting plate will need to be lurches from eBay, amazon, or Home Depot, etc The mounting plate can also be mounted to wall with a caber over it and appear like a normal switch. Happy hunting, you won’t be disappointed.Read full review

I’ve purchased locally and this is exact same unit. Installed and works well. Couldn’t quite figure out how to let all in household use on there phone but finally was able to enable users. All have to be on iCloud and get lutron app.

It is a nice product that has been functioning well with both Echo and Google Home in our apartment. We found both the Pico remote and the voice control functions to be reliable and convenient. Voice control can turn on/off multiple lights immediately, but the Pico remote always dims the lights down step by step, which takes a few seconds.

It's a good product and works as advertised. It's made of high-quality materials. My only complaint is that the switch needs to be within 30 feet of the bridge for smart functionality to work, which is a small range for a house. The switches don't forward packets to other switches, so the range can't be extended that way. There are ways to extend the range (see Lutron's website), but you need to purchase separate equipment for that and even then, there are limits to the maximum range (up to 90 feet, but not in all directions). If you have a large two-story house, the maximum range might not work for every corner of the house. Note that the switches can function as simple switches without smart functionality even if they are outside the bridge's range.

Simplest smart-dimmer system and works with an bulb (LED or not) that says it is dimmable on the package. That makes a reasonable system (I started with 2 rooms and went to 4 when I realized how easily I could control it from my iPhone or using my Homepod. Hah! The irony is I hesitated on Homepod for months; and ironically this is now one of it's best easiest uses because of the sensitive microphones. It works with other assistants; but I'm very happy. At first I got the kit (a must have if you want the Siri or Google assistants to work); and 1 separate switch. By the time I'm done; pedastals for the picos and a home that listens to me :)
