Great Machine!
I fell in love with this machine. I was only going to use it for free motion quilting but that quickly changed after my test run. I have not had any tension problems. I do need to get use to the speed of it, been practicing lowing down. It took me a while to get use to changing the bobbin. My other 2 sewing machines uses the drop down bobbins. The needle threader works great for me. I did not bother installing the knee lift presser foot thing because I'm used to reaching back with my hand to lift the presser foot and the thread cutter is great!

I have difficulty adjusting the tension on this machine. It may just be the "operator", not the machine.

COMPARES WELL TO MY OLD INDUSTRIAL MACHINE
I bought it as a sparingly used but new item. I got the power cord and foot pedal but not the accompanying feet. The machine is quiet, smooth and quick. I especially like the easy adjustable feed dogs. My old bobbins from my old Juki 8500DDL industrial works well with it and so do all the feet. My least favorite things are: -the size of the opening to change the bobbins as I have a larger hand with tall fingers and that that chamber is more difficult to access if you are using the extended table -the knee lift could extend more out of the machine to make it easier to use with more tables. None of these are huge deal breakers for me as the likes far supersedes these. As a matter of fact, I just snagged another.
