I had a problem getting the scanner to work with my computer. Not sure if this was me or the scanner. With a little online research I found the manual for the scanner. With this I was able to reset the scanner and now it works well. I would highly recommend that anyone buying this scanner download the manual. Programing the scanner is done by scanning barcodes in the manual. It was a few easy steps. There are many options available even changing the loudness and tone of the beeps. This can only be accessed by using the barcodes in the manual or using a scanner setup program also available on line. If you are using only one or two scanners the manual is quick and easy. The name of the manual is LS2208 Product Reference Guide available on the manufacturer's web site.
