Used with issues but hopefully will be fine soon
This was a used machine with issues so this review doesn't do it justice. I like the coffee from it but had to replace multiple parts as it leaked and was not cared for well. Overall, I've had coffee from this model before and liked it so I purchased this one.

DeLonghi EAM3400 Espresso Machine
This is the same machine that is sold at your local Starbucks. As a partner I have demonstrated this machine to many customers. I can not overemphasize this machines ease of use. It really is as simple as adding whole beans and pressing a button. This machine also offers a lot of customizability. Starting with the beans themselves, there is knob that allows you to set the grind. There are three types of shots you can pull. Another added convince is a secondary hole to add coffee directly to the filter. The reason for this is that you can not easily empty the beans out of the hopper. Though what you add to the second hopper does need to be preground, it adds the ability to pull decaf shots while leaving the primary hopper full of caffinated beans. Clean up is made easy by a catch basket. ... This is the same machine that is sold at your local Starbucks. As a partner I have demonstrated this machine to many customers. It is small and has to be completely removed to be filled up. Overall I would rate this machine as Excellent. Just remember to clean the machine, even the most expensive machine will make terrible espresso drinks if it is not properly cleaned.

Espresso Machine - used daily!
I've had my machine two months. I have been very happy with it's performance. Other reviews talk about it having a small water tank. I have found this to be accurate, however, the water tank is very accessible and easy to refill so it's not been any problem. I really like the automation of the coffee, but enjoy steaming the milk instead of having this automated, so the machine has been perfect for me. Another nice feature is the ability to customize, and set, the automated features (amount of water in each shot). The cup warmer on top is also a very nice feature. This is an excellent Machine if you are looking for a resolution to your High costs of going to Starbucks for a nice Coffee treat. You can change the grind settings to your desired taste. As well as froth your milk to your liking. I bought this product because I frequently have people staying at my house, and it can be rather expensive to go out and buy Starbucks for everyone let alone for yourself on a daily basis. If you average it to one coffee beverage a day, at $4.30 per day, you can easily spend $129 per month, but if you are like me, I like to have two.. Which of course doubles your costs. and with what I paid for this machine, I can easily pay for it within 6 weeks. You should consider buying the DeScaler insuring that you use it when the light comes on, or well before. I ... I am a little OCD in this area, but I am not interested in spending a fortune to purchase another one. I would say that if you are not a person who likes to keep things tidy, or impeccably clean this machine is probably not for you, it can have some spatter from different things, Before you use the machine, it self cleans, and with the stainless steel surfaces it does get a bit of splatter on the machine, But I use a damp Bar Mop and it cleans right up. I would also suggest that if you have Hard water running in your home, that if you are able to use purified water it may save your machine from needing to be cleaned with the DeScaling solution more often. I have heard other people say that you shouldn't use terribly oily beans, but I have not experienced any trouble thus far.
