The force is decent here
This Black Series release uses the same body as the previous Return of the Jedi Luke which isn’t really up to current standards in terms of articulation and sculpt as there are no butterfly shoulder, double/extended elbow or double neck joints. New to this release is a jedi tunic over the torso cast in a softer pvc, a soft goods/cloth hooded cape and a new head with face printing. The new head, while not a perfect likeness of Mr. Hamill does a much better job of representing his appearance in ROTJ. He also comes with his green lightsaber and a blaster pistol. Overall a much better looking figure in terms of likeness and presentation. As with all Black Series, joint tolerance and paint apps may vary. Black Series Luke Slywalker (Jedi Knight
I have mixed feelings about this figure. On one hand it looks really good but the articulation is poor. This figure is on an old body that I believe was introduced back in 2014. The elbows barely bend 90 degrees and the hips barely move outwards. With all that said I still enjoyed it and even ended up with two of them. It’s accessories are also a great homage to the original Kenner piece.
