The Best Way to See the Best Picture of 1968
Screen musicals may have had their zenith in the 50s but Carol Reed's "Oliver!" from 1968 remains an incredible entertainment. The sheer volume of memorable songs, it's pitch perfect casting and all the production departments firing on all cylinders makes it a late 60s gem. On the downside, the best way to experience the film at home is the limited edition Twilight Time Blu Ray with it's generous extras including an isolated score feature.
