    Humbucker vs. Single Coil

    I originally purchased the single coil version of this PUP. although the sound was good, the noise was difficult to manage. I returned it and purchased the humbucking version. It's fantastic for what it is - removable and non-destructive. I won't permanently mount it in my D-28, but will opt to let the cord hang down the front and will tape the jack to my strap.

    Excellent guitar vocals

    For the price, you can’t go wrong. I have had the Fishman Humbucker Neo, but this certainly works better and does not cover the sound hole - its a smaller footprint. I use it with a Fishman Amp and at very high volumes, you can hear some distortions, but nevertheless an excellent buy.

    Awesome sound!

    Awesome sound. I researched and came to the conclusion that the Fishman Humbucking PRO-REP-102 was the best choice. I decided against the PRO-REP-103 as reviewers report sagging of the flexible shaft for the mic, short battery life and other issues. The PRO-REP-102 has wonderful, natural sound and no hum or issues.
