Synopsis
1945 takes as its departure point from actual history the idea that the US did not fight against Germany after Pearl Harbor. The authors have created a whole new course of history, starting in 1945 with Nazi Germany controlling all Europe except Britain. The hero must foil a Nazi plan.

Item is complete and 100% as described. Shipping was reasonable and item packaged well and arrived 100% intact though-out the shipping process. My 3 star rating for shipping charges in no way reflects upon the seller (who I would purchase from again) but the involuntary expense involved. I was not involved with communicating with the seller so that also explains my 3 star for communication. It did not apply. I am sure the seller would communicate if it were necessary.

  • 1945 An interesting read

I have read several of their books on alternative history and have enjoyed them all. The points they make can be applied to some of our current situations faced by the USA. It is almost like pay me now or pay me later. Fight me now or fight me later. The only downside to this book is at the end it says to be continued and I am waiting for the continuation. I have also read "Pearl Harbor" and "Days of Infamy" and am aticipating the next installment of this series

Newt's first historical fiction... Good read, not great.

  • I loved this book and want more from the authors.

I purchased this book because I was looking for more written by the authors. I had just read their trilogy series on the civil war. I very much enjoyed those books. Searching for more, I found 1945. I found the book very hard to put down. I am now considered an old guy, but I found myself reading into the night to follow the story. I loaned the book to a friend and he expresses the same sentiments. A spellbinding read. The book ends with the statement "to be continued". I hope the authors are not kidding and another book to continue on from this story is in the works. Buy this book. You will love it.

  • This was a quick and easy transaction.

My husband wanted the book. It was a great price and enjoyed reading the book. I received and paid for two (the same title) books from this person. It worked out fine though--I gave one book as a Christmas gift.
