Bought this phone to replace a Lumia 810 that was dropped and damaged the camera. So far this phone is a very good replacement. It came with the screen in good condition and a good battery and charger. There was some sediment inside the casing around the speakers and grille but was able to clean and speakers work with no problem. This phone comes with Windows Phone 8 but can be upgraded to Windows Phone 8.1 using Preview for Developers app from Microsoft and Windows Phone 10 using Windows Insider app from Microsoft. But neither upgrade provides wifi calling from T-Mobile. All-in-all a good phone for Windows users even though it is discontinued. Unfortunately developers have not created the variety of apps available for other phones and Microsoft has been slow to expand new Windows phone availability for US mobile providers.Read full review

There are very much security concerns about this operating system, certain apps are not available including some that i need on my cell phone, I get prompted about bad sites after the fact; i needed shut down the unit to get out of the way. I would use this device if not for possible system compromise, the phone is easy to love.

The Lumia 810 had a short life cycle with T-Mobile. If you buy one be sure you get one that has been updated to WP 8.1 through the Developer Preview program. The ease of use between a Lumia 810 on WP8 and WP 8.1 is large. It appears it is now no longer possible to update to WP 8.1 with the release of WP10 so check with your seller. Screen is bright, not high pixel density but decent. Takes microSD cards which helps to make up for the 8 GB of device storage. Works well with WiFi Call quality is excellent Camera has a flash and takes okay photos The microUSB port will not take a lot of abuse, get the Nokia CC-3063 charging back and a Qi charge pad to reduce cable insertions Runs WP8 / WP 8.1 smoothly Get an extra battery so you can swap out a charged battery for a dead one if you are day long gamer.Read full review

I like the responsiveness of the system overall - no lag as far as I'm concerned. HERE Maps are uniformly excellent and you can download them prior to travel (low footprint) to eliminate data costs. And it's easy to find places of entertainment etc in your location - and very speedy to lock on to your position. Lack of apps on Windows Phone might be a problem for others but I found everything I needed (mainly travel oriented). And I found the Operating System easy to understand and navigate - a very short learning curve. So if you're looking for a cheapish handset that's good to use on the go, and not too bothered about sound/photo/video quality, then you can't go wrong. It stores documents in SkyDrive, which I can pull up on my phone, edit, and email. I can work with pdf or any doc attached to an email. The tiles make it easy to use. The navigation has directions and even public transit directions. Nokia has a ton of apps, including ESPN, TV, and City Lens, which views your surroundings and tells you what businesses (i.e. restaurants, convenience stores) are nearby. A ton of free apps, too, like a translator (which translates text, spoken word, or a photo), flashlight, games, and great radio streaming. I love this phone!Read full review
