    Gigaybte/FX4100 Quad runs Win 10 Version 1903 like a champ!

    This Gigabyte/FX4100 quad combo is 4 or 5 year-old technology with DDR3 memory, but it still cuts the mustard with the very latest Insider Preview Version 1903 of Windows 10. It's capable of doing anything which ordinary mortals do with a PC, except high-end video games. And even there, the addition of a 2 or 3 year old gamer video card, readily available on eBay for 50 bucks or less, would suffice for a total cost a fraction of the price of the latest AMD or Intel gaming CPU alone, let alone a 4-year-old iPhone, which this humble combo can run circles around.

    Quality AM3 features at an inexpensive price!

    A compact micro ATX solution on an AMD AM3 platform. AMD has brought some confusion to CPU nomenclature with their AM2+, AM3+ solution, but this mainboard seems to bring clarity to the issue. It supports DDR3 1333 Mhz, which makes it AM3 and supports your Athlon II and Phenom II multi-core processors. A little short on available slots, or in their choice of arrangement? Good industry accepted features with an emphasis on a budget purchase while utilizing good quality components. 6)SATA connectors, only (2) DDR3 RAM slots and for me, an unusable PCIe x 1 slot, if using a 2 space graphics card. That said, Gigabyte's target market on this model mainboard was probably "not" the hard core gamer anyway, and I'm not, but I want my PC to do whatever I ask of it. Still, I'm happy I'm a Gigabyte ...

    Phenom-inal

    The product works great, already put together a system with the cpu motherboard combo in it and its done. Looks like new thermal paste was applied but clean it off, applied it myself, and gave the motherboard, cpu fan, memory a good roninrider cleaning for my own sanity, no issues.... well with the motherboard

    Replacement Mother Board

    Everything works well except for the audio out socket / plug on the back side of the mother board even after all of the proper drivers have been loaded.

    great price, easy build, excellent bios instruction

    First build using a non ASUS board. Booted up on the first try. I used AM3 FX6100 3.3, Vista 64. 8 gig mem, 2 DVD RW rom drives and 2 250 seagate sata hd. This rig is used mainly as a home HD theater and as a general web surfing tool. I have had no problems yet and anticipate none in the near future.
