    Love it!

    Before purchasing this, I owned a purple Remington S5500 because of its favorable online ratings. The S5500 was a fine little product; lightweight and easy to use. But - for my tastes - its bright purple color was cringeworthy. My husband nicknamed it "Barney" after the purple TV dinosaur. After its too (?) long and useful life, I celebrated it's purple demise by quickly replacing it with the Remington S9500. I've had the S9500 for over a month now and am just as happy with its pretty much identical functions as compared to the S5500. And the real bonus is I'm no longer haunted by, "I love you, you love me..." white straightening my hair.

    Love this flat iron!!!!

    This is my second Remington S9500 flat iron. I had my first one for over 6 years. It still works great, but I didn't keep the plates clean like I should. I loved it so much that I will only own this model. It heats up very quickly and does not snag my hair. I highly recommend wiping the plates after each use to extend the life of the flat iron.
